What does the future hold for the industrial landscape of tech in New Orleans? Join Tech Talent South for our panel of industry experts as we discuss the social, economic and political influences that will determine the future of tech in New Orleans. Featuring: Grady Fitzpatrick, Senior Vice President of Business Development at GNO Inc. Grady Fitzpatrick joined Greater New Orleans, Inc. in 2011.  Grady serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development and leads all Business Attraction and Business Retention efforts.  In this role, he markets the 10-parish Southeastern region of Greater New Orleans working to bring new jobs and investment in areas such as corporate headquarters, software, digital media, and advanced manufacturing. Previously, Grady held the position of Senior Business Development Manager of Economic Development for the Metro Atlanta Chamber.  He carried out all aspects of site selection for competitive domestic and international business recruitment projects.  Grady successfully recruited over 15 domestic and international companies to Atlanta, representing over $300M in new capital investment and over 2,500 new jobs for Atlanta.   Grady also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Sales and Business Development division.  This group was responsible for developing sales strategies to drive new business revenue opportunities for clients in the Southeast region.  Prior to PwC, Grady was a sales executive for XO Communications and spent 6 years with the Discovery Channel in their programming and marketing departments. A graduate of Boston College with a B.S. in Communications, Grady completed his MBA with a concentration in Real Estate at Georgia State University.  He has twice been recognized by Consultant Connect as a Top 50 Site Selector in North America.   Grady also serves on the Board of Elevate New Orleans, the Executive Leadership Council of the March of Dimes, and the Advisory Board for Operation Spark.   Adele Tiblier, Chief Marketing Officer at Story Block Adele Tiblier is the Chief Marketing Officer for Story Block, an inbound marketing and sales agency. She has worked with some of the largest local tech success stories, previously serving as VP of Marketing at TurboSquid, Director of Marketing at zlien, and as an Interactive Strategist for client accounts nationwide, spanning the tourism, technology, retail and non-profit industries. Adele has presented at conferences across the country. She is a certified Google Small Business trainer, and holds a number of marketing, sales and software certifications. She has been a longtime champion for the New Orleans tech community, from organizing showcase events at SXSW, to working closely with the Collision Conference. She has been nominated for a number of local, regional and national awards in recognition for her professional accomplishments as well as her community involvement. Recently she was awarded the 2017 Ada Lovelace Award for Digital Marketing. Adele also sits on the board of directors for KidsmART, a local arts education organization with a focus on arts education into existing academic curriculum. Scott Santens, Writer & Basic Income AdvocateDescribed as "by far, the most effective basic income activist out there" Scott Santens has lived with a crowdfunded monthly basic income since January of 2016 and has been a moderator of the Basic Income community on Reddit since 2013. As a writer and blogger, his pieces advocating basic income have appeared in The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe, TechCrunch, Vox, the World Economic Forum, Politico, Business Insider, and Futurism among others. As a public speaker, he presented at the first World Summit on Technological Unemployment and has spoken and participated as a panelist at conferences across the United States and the world. He is on the board of directors of USBIG, Inc., an advisor to the Economic Security Project and Universal Income Project, and founder of the BIG Patreon Creator Pledge. He
