Steve Nevitt; I am a consulting geoscientist in Lafayette, Louisiana and the current president of the Cajun Prairie Habitat Preservation Society. I am at the beginning of my career in ecological restoration focusing on grassland restoration, native seed preservation and education. I am currently in process of co-founding a grassland restoration landscape design and consulting firm with Blazing Star Flower Farm owner Jacob Delahoussaye. We recently helped students establish a vibrant Cajun Prairie Garden on the Youngsville Ascension Episcopal School campus to help provide a biologically diverse educational experience for students.
