Advanced Pharmacology Update for the Advanced Practice Nurse: Evidence-Based Care, Treatment and Education Regarding
It is not uncommon to have a change in the medication regimen of patients diagnosed with diabetes, hyperlipidemia and ADHD. Advanced Practice Nurses will be provided a comprehensive review on the updates of pharmacological treatment for these patients. Advanced Practice Nurses are often faced with treating patients with serious infections and need to know how to effectively treat these infections. Upon completion of this activity the participants will be able to: Specify information on best practices and recommended guidelines based on evidence-based research surrounding prescribing in regards to diabetes, hyperlipidemia, ADHD and Antibiotic therapy. Integrate information for implementing guidelines within the Advanced Nurse Practitioners particular healthcare setting. Prescribe proper drug, dosage and administration consideration when managing patients diagnosed with diabetes, hyperlipidemia, ADHD and those prescribed antibiotics. The target audience is registered nurses and advanced practice nurses. $10 LATE FEE IF NOT REGISTERED BY JANUARY 24, 2020
