The Conference covers a wide range of energy issues that are accounting-, tax-, and technology-related, and offers an excellent opportunity to meet with your peers in the industry while earning CPE credits. The Conference will be held at the University of New Orleans University Center (UC), located in the Northeast corner of the UNO Campus, not far from the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Elysian Fields Avenue. Parking may be accessed either from Elysian Fields or Alumni Drive. The UC is item #34 on the map near the bottom of this page, with a star indicating parking. Coe & Company is a Microsoft Certified Partner in Louisiana that has been awarded certifications in various competencies, and is creator of the most widely used foreign vessel management system in the United States. 9:30–10:20 GENERAL SESSION – New Orleans Economic Update: Dr. Walter (Dub) Lane (Chair, Department of Economics and Finance, UNO). A review of the local economy by a recognized expert. 10:30–11:20 GENERAL SESSION – “Distributed Energy Resources in New Orleans.” Andrew Owens (Entergy Corp.). 11:30–12:20 CONCURRENT SESSIONS – GAAP or Tax Update A) Tax Update: Bill Potter (Postlethwaite & Netterville). Focus will be predominantly State and local taxation.
