2019 August Lunch and Learn Event
This month we will address the opioid epidemic and how it effects every age group. We are pleased to have the outreach team from South Central Louisiana Huma Services Authority to provide this vital information. The presenters from SCLHSA will be Jill Talbot, PLMHP, Shantel Rounds, RN, Laura Stanley, PSS, and Leilani Brunet, RN. The Peer Support Specialist will share her personal journey from active addition to recovery.The one-hour educational presentation is ideal for professionals that work with diverse sectors of the community impacted by opioids. The educational event will take place on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 12 - 1 PM in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church located at 6109 Highway 311 in Houma.
