2018 BBHF Volunteers and Vendors
2018 Bogalusa Blues & Heritage Festival Volunteers and Vendors: September 28-29, 2018 Welcome to the 2018 Bogalusa Blues & Heritage Festival Volunteers and Vendors coordination site. Which of the following three categories describes you? (This is NOT the main Bogalusa Blues & Heritage Festival tickets page which can be found at BogalusaBlues.com/TICKETS.) 1) I would like to volunteer my time but have not been coordinated through any group yet: If you would like to volunteer your time at the Bogalusa Blues & Heritage Festival but have not already been coordinated through one of our partner organizations, we have a need for what we call "Area Access." This includes helping out at the main gate or at other locations like the VIP tent and checking people for wristbands and most importantly greeting them with a smile and hardy welcome. You will be the face of the festival and we'd love to have you help out. Click the green 'Register' button and select an Area Access time slot on either Friday or Saturday or both! It's super easy! Check out the slots we have open right now. If you have questions email us firstname.lastname@example.org. Please print and bring your registration ticket with you when you report to volunteer. Report to the the main ticketing gate and ask for Bill Kropog or Tyfanni Cassidy. We'll provide refreshments, a volunteer wristband which grants you general admission access to the festival, and a commemorative sticker for you to wear identifying you to the public. Note: Stage Crew and Merchandise volunteers are handled by their directors. If you worked either of these areas in previous years, please contact your previous coordinator. 2) I have a Volunteer Access Code and have been coordinated through an organization: If you were directed to this event page to sign up as part of a volunteer team for a sponsoring or partner organization, use your "promotional code" (volunteer access code) to reserve your time slot or position and recieve your ticket as a volunteer. You must register for your desired time slot in order to reserve it. Click the 'Register' button and simply enter your volunteer access code you received via email or that your coordinating organization gave you. This will unlock and make visible the registration ticket slots for which you are eligible to volunteer. Remember, registering for a slot holds it in your name. The 'ticket' or confirmation will be delivered to your email inbox. You should print it and bring it with you when arriving for your designated time and location, which should be described on your registration ticket. If your ideal time slot is no longer available, please select a slot that is still available. You are allowed to trade with others from YOUR ORGANIZATION, or contact us at contact@BogalusaBlues.com. 3) I am responsible for a youth group and have responsible young men and women to volunteer: If you have a civic or youth organization that you lead or coordinate, we may have service hours available. For legal reasons, we screen our youth organizations carefully. If you would like to provide some hard-working young people the opportunity to gain recognition for their volunteerism, contact us at contact@BogalusaBlues.com and we'll see if we have a need that isn't filled! 4) I am an approved vendor and need to pay my registration fee: Approved vendors will be emailed instructions and an access code in order to come to this site and pay your vendor fee and set up your information so that you receive your vendor packet in the mail. Important Note: All volunteers who are NOT coordinated through one of our partnered organizations or through a civic or youth group as described above must be 18 years of age or older and be approved in order to receive an access code to volunteer. Thank you!
